El Aguila Real in Lakeview

Great food, speedy, friendly service. Prices are way too high for this town, but because it's the only sit down Mexican Restaurant here, people will pay for it. I wish they stayed open past 8 p.m. I have watched them turn away business and our town needs more options for later take out and restaurants. On a side note: Can someone PLEASE help them fix their reader board sign outside on the top of the building? The 'We will be cosed on Thanksgiving' and whatever else it says has ran consistently for 4 years, maybe more. Did they lose the instructions for it? So unclassy. Otherwise, good.

The staff there was really friendly, nothing was particularly good. But nothing was actually bad either, except for the fact that the salsa was pure juice with like 10 tiny tomato cubes in each bowl. 1st margarita was decent. 2nd was pure ice, & the re-do was only ever so slightly better

People that dont like this place obviously eat at Taco Bell. The best authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The tortilla soup and fajitas were phenomenal! Homemade chips salsa and guac!!!

Great authentic Mexican food! I am Mexican myself so I am very picky with the Mexican food flavors and authenticity and I've ate at tons of Mexican restaurants who claim to be authentic but I have been disappointed time after time, but this restaurant hands down has passed the test with flying colors. Their food tastes fresh and is just like I have at home. I had their Aguila real plate which I highly recommend. Service is great as well which is a plus for me. You usually get one or the other, great food, or great service and they have the whole package along with very reasonable prices.

Not what we expected. I suppose to some folks that this is authentic Mexican cuisine. We are spoiled by our small town's taco truck & authentic Mexican restaurant. But what we had was good. Thank you for the good service.

The chips and salsa are great. I had the grilled chicken salad, and it was tasty. Good sized portions.

I really like this place. we've been several times. Prices are good. I go for the enchiladas. It saddens me that they Don't serve chili con queso, but it's still good. Being raised Texmex, it was a staple in our home. Oh well...in a perfect world...I recommend it!

We had a large party and they were quick to get our food to us. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

We come here regularly. If you didn't like what you ordered try something else. Plenty is good. Service has always been good.

I have eaten from there 4 separate times, and each time I got food poisoning, I got so violently sick that my coworkers asked if I needed to go to the hospital. I do not recommend eating hear unless you want to vomit till it hurts. -10/10

Website very clearly says 3-close Saturday buy one get one margaritas, only reason we went in. Would not honor it even though it is very clearly on their website and they acknowledged that. The food was also subpar. Needless to say we won’t be back, and you probably shouldn’t bother.

The food is great here. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive, eager to please. We asked for minor adjustments to be made with our orders. She came back to verify exactly how we wanted it. The food came exactly right. It looked great on the hot plate and it tasted great. The servings were fair. The total was less then we were used to. When we come back through we will eat here again. I highly recommend this place.

I came to eat here with high hopes after years of driving by and not stopping. Well, I finally did and was extremely disappointed. The flautas I ordered were mediocre at best, the salsa, the same. The very bad part was, I was given a menu that I ordered from. Once the food was ready, I came in to pay as it was "to go", the bill ended up over 50% more than was on the menu. I showed this to the waitress, she showed me the "real" menu which had the far more expensive price. She refused to modify the price as it's "in the computer". I would never ever stop here again. Why people can be so bad during these times is beyond me.

Best mexican food

A favorite when we lived in Lakeview and a favorite now when I visit. Probably one of the longest running restaurants in town, continuously run by the same owners. Always yummy and a great place to run into folks you know. Most liked dishes on my list are the Mexican pizza and Camerones con Quesa with WHITE cheese.
